loves
all in a nutshell
i have doodles of stickgals and bears everywhere. i can't wait to finish every episode of ANTM. i feel totally depressed after finishing a new Meg Cabot or Sophie Kinsella book. i created my tumblr just to reblog all the conceptual photography that i just appreciate so much. i love fashion so much that i hope to succeed in starting my own label. i want to improve lives of people in the poverty-stricken world bcos i feel that they deserve so much more. i am living the most out of my life and i am :D drumrolls

it really surprised me how much of Singapore was unknown to me despite the fact that i had been living here for the past 18+ years when wt took me down to Chinatown. the moment i stepped out of the MRT station n went outdoor, i was totally overwhelmed by what i saw. there were countless stalls along the whole stretch of road selling v unique items. okay, i shall recall what i saw - Chinese chops, water paintings, fans, Javanese-print dresses, exotic handmade bracelets and some Guanyin statutes. yeah, n lots of 'I LOVE SINGAPORE' tees. but i have to say that those tees with merlion sewn on it is super fugly ugly. hahahaha. totally hideous. anyway, the reason why it amazed me so much that i actually felt like a tourist myself was because these stalls resembled those that i saw back in Beijing!! i think im going to go down to Chinatown street again when i go to that area to settle my Taiwan trip packages:)lunch at the well-known Chinatown hawker was nice. wt and i had black vinegar pig's trotters, oyster omelette and sugarcane juice. that version of pig's trotters is my all-time favourite since young:)
people are right when they say that sometimes it may not be a blessing to be presented with too many choices because it leaves u wavering between the different options. NUS's FASS is appealing bcos of their enriching campus life and overseas experience opportunities. NTU's Chemistry & Biological Chemistry seems to be beckoning u because of the good career prospects in the Science-related industry when u graduate n plus, it wasn't easy to be offered a place in the 1st place. n lastly, SMU's Economics which teaches u what the industry needs right now - science rather than the arts side of the subject. n after standing at this crossroad in my life for quite some time, i have finally decided to take up the FASS offer at NUS and study Economics, Sociology and English Literature during my 1st year. i hope this decision will be one that i will not regret when i look back years later. okay. i'm sure i will not:D
honestly, if i do not have any considerations and can do whatever i want, i would go overseas to study fashion design and start my own label. but then again, living in this competitive world, u know u have to b be practical. so right now, my plan is to get my degree 1st. n after having this degree to fall back on, i shall go overseas n study fashion design. that is if i don't intend to get my masters. way to go!!:D
