loves
all in a nutshell
i have doodles of stickgals and bears everywhere. i can't wait to finish every episode of ANTM. i feel totally depressed after finishing a new Meg Cabot or Sophie Kinsella book. i created my tumblr just to reblog all the conceptual photography that i just appreciate so much. i love fashion so much that i hope to succeed in starting my own label. i want to improve lives of people in the poverty-stricken world bcos i feel that they deserve so much more. i am living the most out of my life and i am :D drumrolls

wednesday. 30 Dec 2009dinner at Tung Lok with gfs. Chelsea, Jiaxuan, Caijun, Liyuan and Joanne. It's really great that everyone is available such that we hang out again after such a long time. the food there are really nice just that the jellyfish appetiser portion was way too small. but i really loved the seafood-broth claypot rice which was kinda hotel-standard. in the end, the bill was 242bucks. thank god cj's card passed bcos i really wouldn't want to end up washing plates in their kitchen. hahahaha. we were planning to go n have ben's and jerry for dessert but then jo got sore eyes and alil so me and cj went home with her. anw, lotsa thanks to cj who got me a box full of snacks from taiwan, bracelet and a vintage notebook. and also, chelsea for the diary style mask collection which was really special:)
thursday. 31st Dec09
things weren't as smooth-sailing at work bcos i had to carry boxes around to find the receipt bundles. and that was really tough bcos the boxes are really heavy and my arm strength has never been okay. but thank god it was only half-day. phew. and the guy from the IT department was really nice to give me chicken pie bcos it's his last day. so i guess that was a plus-point.
met mum at Anchorpoint for lunch. we ate at the Xin Wang Hong Kong restaurant. as usual, the food wasn't bad but the one at Marina Square is definitely better in terms of the standard of food. took a 30mins rest at home. then i met up with caijun and headed towards marina.
we wanted to go to the Esplanade to watch those small live performances but the barricades that they put in place misled us and eventually, we ended up at the marina float and had to find our way back. the crowd was so huge. those trample-you-to-death type of crowd. hahahas. the police officers around kept giving us the wronjg directions bcos they weren't really listening and pretty much assumed that EVERYBODY wants to go to the Marina Float. hey. that's so not true. in the end, this lady officer just told me and cj that it's impossible for us to get to the Esplanade bcos the Marina Float is closed but the crowd is still there, blocking up the road.
somehow, we ended up counting down in Suntec city bcos the mall's glass doors were closed. but we were really lucky bcos we rushed out of the mall in time to catch the fireworks. and the fireworks display was totally amazing, with a spectacular finish. even better than that of National Day. haha. the whole marina area was jammed right after the fireworks bcos everyone was rushing to get out of the place. so the bus trhat we were on was still for an hour before it moves slowly. and i got home only after 3am. i swear im not gg for such event next time.
